Spring green!

Lovely Sunday morning, drove in early to Edinburgh, parked in Herriot Row & walked to hotel to meet my US visitors to start our walking tour. We met a lady with a beautiful Skye terrier just like Greyfriars Bobby for those of you who know Edinburgh you’ll probably have heard of our famous dog. Each evening after his master died & was buried in Greyfriars kirkyard Bobby came to sleep on his master’s grave for 14 years!
We then came across a parade of Pipe band & Brass band of the Boys Brigade! A coffee at Holyrood & a pit stop that fortified us for our walk up the Royal Mile, leaving my visitors at the Castle.
Met a friend of old for lunch then off to another friend’s 80th Birthday ! Can’t believe she’s arrived at this grand age when she looks 10 years younger ! Great fun lots of mutual friends I hadn’t seen for a long while! Lots of yakking!
No champagne for me .... I did enjoy a glass of vino after driving home!
