Sea Thrift.....

......at St Abbs Head today. We took N and M down this afternoon as M wants to see lots of wild space - its a bit in short supply in Singapore :) The wind was very strong but it was absolutely gorgeous.As we drove up the slopes had great swathes of pink which I initially thought was heather but it was actually the sea thrift flowers...carpets of them. I'm being a bit arty farty with the blip but have put the original in as an extra unedited and also a couple of others. One of them shows the new aircraft carrier the Prince of Wales doing manoeuvres in the background.
Mum continues to improve :)
