plastic....

In Lusaka (and almost everywhere I have been in sub-saharan Africa, it is necessary to boil and filter drinking water from the tap!  However, some people just buy bottled water and clutter up the environment with plastic bottles!  I try to do my bit by recycling them into play materials for our ECD centres but there is only so much you can use!  Yesterday a colleague arrived at my house with 4 big sacks of these empty plastic bottles!  With the plastic crisis in the world, I wish we could have a recycling plant in Lusaka!
