Cattle Parade

Wall to wall sunshine again, and another warm day.

Up early again, and caught the bus after breakfast.  Today we headed to Sioux City, an American wild west themed park.  It was built in 1971 for a movie, Take a Hard Ride, featuring Lee Van Cleef.  You can go in various buildings, including the saloon, the sheriff's office, the school, church and more.  When it finished, I headed straight to the pool.  A quiet evening in the hotel tonight. 

There was various shows to watch today, the horse whisperer, the bank robbery, the rodeo, the Mexican bandits in the saloon, the horse parade and then also the cattle parade.  Although it's made up town, it does give you a feel of the wild west, and how they herded the cattle through the town, and some comical sketches too.  Note the town drunk on the right.  I was here on my last trip, and had to come back again.  Taken at Sioux City, Gran Canaria.
