The Kite Flyer

Out early this morning after an 'artistic' shot for BobsBlips' WidWed challenge.  This is what I came up with, and though it isn't necessarily an artistic shot, the subject matter certainly is.

This piece of public art is called The Kite Flyer and is by Marzia Colonna ARBS.  It's entirely made of metal, as you would expect, and was produced in a local foundry.  Stretching across the end of Parchment Street, I think it is one of the relatively few popular pieces of public art in Winchester.  I love it.
