The Capitol revisited

I went to a talk at the University about the Arts and Crafts Movement. Lots of Ruskin and William Morris which I knew but I was less aware of the American developments with among others Stickley furniture. It was interesting to see how the ideas were developed further and the flat pack emerged much earlier than IKEA!
Lunch in the Capitol and then I decided it was time to take a few photographs of the beautiful birds which I've seen each time I've sat in the grounds. I particularly like the Blue Jay. I sat by a fountain watching the birds cool down and in temperatures in the 90s I felt a bit the same!
