fly

Went for a mini-beastie safari round Blackford Pond. It was really quite good, lots of St Mark's flies, some crane flies, damselflies, a scorpion fly and a bunch of weevils. Also saw the rat again but it decided to stay hidden and wouldn't come out for a portrait. I ignored the fairly new cygnets. A good lunch break. More shots of the pond life on flickr.
