A Victor

I had a trip to RAF Marham this afternoon, fascinating. Film/slide show, personalised visit to the the base museum and then a coach ride around the base, looking at the old buildings and the massive new hangers build for the F35's coming over the next decade or so. For most of the visit there was a photo embargo in place.
The blip is of the front of the Handley Page Victor plane on display at the gates. This was the last of this model to fly and took part in the Falkland Island war as a refuelling plane. It is now only airborne because it is being held up by a very large metal pole.
Unfortunately  most of the real flying planes based there flew out of Marham this morning, about 3 hours before we got there. We did not take it personally, really.
