Another Blue Sky Day

Having not shown you the blue in yesterday's blue skies, Ithought I'd make up for it with this view from the 16th tee on today's round. You may find it difficult to believe, given the number of blips I've posted of our course over the years, but I don't think I've ever posted one from this tee before. The idea is to hit your tee shot over the hedge, just to the right of the gap in it and far enough to hit your second shot sharp left over a similar hedge, leaving a short iron to the green on what is a par 5. Things rarely turn out like that, of course!

This afternoon, I enjoyed knocking in to shape the draft notes that Chris had made for a best man speech he is making on Saturday week.
