Lake Coleridge

Sooooo peaceful. Don't allow the developers to find this place. People would love to build all around the waters edge wouldn't they.

The extra is the post box for Mt Algidus Station. It was made famous by the book 'A River Rules my Life' by Mona Anderson. The station is over the Rakaia River headwaters. The only land access is through the river which sometimes can't be done. Of course, these days flying will be used for access. There was mail in the box which surprised me. The mailman doesn't come to many of us very often now.
