Christmas Eve, Faces at the Carriage Window

Christmas Eve at the Steam Railway was as popular as ever despite some high winds and rain in the morning, but for the afternoon Santa Specials the sun even made an appearance. Lots of happy faces on the trains including this little chap wondering where all the steam was coming from. ( not the engine but the carriage steam heating.) Dad seemed pleased to have a brief respite from the preparations.
