Up in the clouds

(Back blip) Thursday 16th
After an early start we arrived at Manchester Airport. Well am I special or not? I couldn't check in at home due to being randomly selected to answer more questions at the airport, then I was randomly selected for additional search before gong on the plane!! But  I did meet a kind lady from Colorado Springs who helped me navigate through Atlanta Airport to find my connection to Austin. I hadn't been able to choose my seat from Atlanta and was given a seat by the window - which I normally don't choose because I don't like having to ask people to move - but I'm so glad I had it this time with these beautiful views out of the window. The colours were so pretty and the clouds fantastic shapes.
My son was waiting for me when I arrived at the airport and we were soon checked into our accommodation. A long journey but worth it!
