Tocal

Visited the Tocal Agricultural college property at Patterson in the Hunter Valley- this is the early homestead built in 1822.
The separate college houses 100 students aged 16-18 - (at the moment a majority of girls) studying hands on agriculture.  (horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, crops etc.)
It was a fascinating visit.   "Tocal" is a local aboriginal word meaning "plenty".
