Look How I've Grown

Just a quick stroll down to the duckponds today as they were forecasting showers this afternoon. When I arrived the Swan family up at the top end of the pond where it gets narrow and a bit shallower, fed them a whole English round lettuce which the cygnets and mum devoured quite quickly, dad didn't seem that interested. Left them mopping up the last of the lettuce and walked further down looking for the ducklings.
I found them near the island enjoying the respite from the swans harassment. My blip is a combination of a shot taken today (main picture) of one of the ducklings and the inset was taken 4 weeks ago (22nd April) not sure if it's the same duckling, but it is one of the same brood. Look how quick they've grown, the beauty of nature.
