Pargetting first!

So, the builders were doing the render on the outside of the new extension, and I decided to try my hand at pargetting (relief sculpture done in lime mortar cement). It was fun, though not perfect. My geckos are not quite centred in the circle. Oh well. Gives it more character! :-)

I'm just off to the Village Hall for a a local archaeology presentation, showing some of the finds that have been dug up on a new development site. Should be interesting.

Then I'm meeting up with Gill at the pub for the Pub Philosophers club, where we're discussing the philosophy of humour.
