Contrasting Colours

This morning I enjoyed a lovely walk in the grounds and gardens of Dumfries House.

If I was I member of the Royal Horticultural Society or had an Ayrshire postcode a visit to the walled garden would have cost me nothing but I have neither so I paid for my entry and off I went through the aboretum to the Queen Elizabeth Walled Garden.

Hundreds of alliums, a few blue poppies, azaleas, lupins and so much more. I loved the contrasting colours of the euphorbia and the pelargonium.
