WELCOME

If you visit me today you'll be greeted by this lovely tulip on the doorstep. I'm so pleased because I ordered and received the bulbs (Sunset Shades) last autumn and then promptly forgot about them until February when I finally got round to planting them. Consequently they're a bit backward and not at their best, but this one looks as though it's forgiven me and I'm hoping for a better show next Spring.

I've spent all morning mucking out my office, hosing down my computer desk and monitors and swearing that I'll never eat anything in the office again! It was pretty disgusting, but now I feel so virtuous and motivated that I definitely deserve some tea and cake... in the kitchen!
