Fast water

Today is the last minute Xmas shopping for many, but for me it was the last minute stroll by the lake before it was too dark.
After all the rain, the water in the stream is very high and flowing really fast. Yet, my little friend, Mr Water Vole manages to perch on a tiny twig, looking cute and fluffy and happily eating his supper in the middle of torrent.
