Dolly's empty kitchen

This is the current state of our kitchen, the extra is the new one which was delivered yesterday, good thing work begins tomorrow. Lewis' mum Isy very kindly came round today to paint for us, the coving, celing and undercoat on some of the walls. The bulk of the wall painting will need to wait as plastering is needing done on one walls, it is not at all even. Most of the floor was taken up yesterday so we cleared the underlay today, new floor goes down in about a week. I made a 66mile round trip to get wallpaper as it was the last place I could get it, Isy will be back to put that up for us and do the rest of the painting, she's an expert at it. In case you wonder why we left the tiles on, it's because the walls are lath and plaster(very old building) and we don't really want to make more of a mess of them, I leave that to the builders. Hoping there is a big difference when I come home from work tomorrow.
