Woodpecker

We had lovely weather today and made our first BBQ. Afterwards we headed over the border to pick up some soil from the only open hardware store so I could plant my tomato pots. The birds were very active at the feeder and I was watching from the kitchen window when a woodpecker swooped down and took a nut. I haven’t seen any in our yard before although they nest in the forest nearby. My camera stays in the kitchen these days in case I see a new bird
