Clematis

A fine fab and busy day. I nipped off this morning to view a pinball machine I had eyes on that was surprisingly local, then came home to prepare lunch for my brother and his wife and son. His birthday was recent and this was the first chance for us to meet up, and as a joke he'd requested fine fillet steaks for lunch. Well ok...

I'd not cooked a fillet steak for yonks, and they're a bit expensive to get wrong. In the end though everything went well including the lovely crispy roast potatoes and side order of sausage! A short walk followed, just to help it down, which is where I came across this magnificent clematis, and off they went.

And in comes Ivy! Happily standing now for a few seconds before remembering she can't do that! Soon be walking. After a long evening of playing and having stories she's desperately trying not to go to sleep, which Janet is accepting as an opportunity to doze with her. Hope your weekend was a fine.
