WWT London: Wading and Grazing in the Daisies
More serene a scene in large.
Extras:
Jackdaw cawing
Wood ducks (m) queueing
The escaped emperors find the hay store...
Stacked swans
My mother and I went to the Wetland Centre in the early afternoon. Two of the emperors were in the right place, and three of the nēnēs also, but two of the emperors were way over by the Headley Hide (and hay store...) and their naughty nēnē friend was nowhere to be seen...
Also spent time photographing the various ducks squabbling over the nesting boxes in their enclosure, eiders courting, white-winged ducks being subtle, and a ferruginous duck washing.
Others here (or right from "...with one eye open")
