Newgrange and the Hill of Tara

Dear Diary,

Today we traveled back thousands of years to experience Ireland’s ancient history at the Newgrange passage tomb and the Hill of Tara, the site of the Kings of Ireland. Both were awe inspiring and our weather held with dramatic shifting clouds that really added to the experience.

This is the entrance to the tomb (no photos allowed inside) and I’ve added extras of the tomb exterior, the Stone of Destiny at Tara and one of the spectacular views from there. I also added a lovely statue of St. Patrick. What an amazing day!
