Silene alba..

Feeling quite tired after all yesterday's running about so a local wildflower seemed a fair bet for today.  I chose this one because of the way the two flowerheads - both branched off the same stem - seemed to be mimicking eachother, like dancers.

Apart from that I've not done much at all and very nice it's been, reading, snoozing, playing with the dog and letting the world drift on without me.  Lovely!

Oh, and one bit of good news, a cuckoo has been heard back in the Itchen Valley this year, though sadly not by me.
