Found!

A bereft cat owner in our road posted ‘Missing Cat’ notices through doors a week ago. Her distinctive black and white indoors cat, with a face like Batman, had escaped and disappeared. Everyone has been on the lookout for it, but no luck.
Until now, when my large Pointer dog and tabby cat were both excitedly peering out through the French windows, riveted by something outside. It was the lost cat, sitting on the lawn. I rang its owner, who rushed over, but it had disappeared again. With patience, calling him and some fishy treats, he reappeared on the garage roof and she caught him.
So good to see a happy ending for a missing pet.
