Up early and at the shops to buy cake-baking ingredients for my eldest's birthday tomorrow. And once cake was made and yesterday's Giro had been caught up with on Quest, it was off along the canal to the new Printmakers to meet up with our pal from last night before she headed to the airport and back to Shetland. Scrambled eggs, coffee and cake really hit the spot.

And now, I head to work to cover a shift for the rest of the day and evening. Think I will sleep *very* well tonight.
