Training on St Mary's Bay

Last day of the Readers and Writers convention at the Aotea Centre. Once again I took S to avoid either parking woes, or finding a taxi. While she was there I went to Westhaven with the Pentax. Wandered around, taking a few pics here and there, and was thinking of leaving when the dragon boat came racing across St Mary's Bay in front of me. 

Poised for the next stroke the raw power and potential is apparent. They took only about 20 or 30 seconds to cross the bay before circling around and heading back out again.
