Christmas Eve

Christmas isn't celebrated here in China, but for some reason, every man and his dog goes out tonight. I only ventured out to have hot pot for dinner.. The place was packed and we had to wait before we got a table.

We (the foreign teachers) have been given the day off, but I'm headed in to work to teach my classes. To me, Christmas has always been about the kids. And I want to hang out with my 'kids' and the other teachers. The high temp for tomorrow is going to be a chilly -18. That's bloody cold in anyone's books.
