Afternoon Shadows

A few weeks ago, a friend in my camera club taught me how to cut my own mats.  I ordered the pertinent tools and bought some large pieces of mat board and today I gave it a go.  There was a bit of a learning curve but I finally got it right and cut two mats for Monday's competition.  I tried to cut a black mat but botched the bevelling so that will definitely require more practice. 

I attended a Nationals baseball game this evening with my husband.   The weather was just perfect, delightful temperature, I had some delicious sushi for dinner,  there were only short people seated in front of me, and the Nats won!  A "goldilocks" game.
