Let sleeping dogs lie

Shared a bottle of bubbly tonight. Been a funny week. Got the house valued with a view to moving to a slightly bigger future proof house. Turns out our house isn't worth as much as we thought. So we will be staying put. We love it so it's a celebration in it's own right. Giles' real father passed away recently. The funeral was on Wednesday. We toyed with the idea of going. They hadn't been in touch for decades, but he has a sister and two brothers so it would have been nice to stand beside them...we have arranged a meet up in August instead, camping in the Lakes quite excited. And we have lived together for seven years this week..seven!!!
