Preparations

I've had a busy day shopping and cleaning the house in preparation. My girls have a special birthday on Monday. It is bringing about lots of emotions in me. On one hand I'm loving seeing them grow into beautiful, clever talented and funny young women with exciting adventures ahead. On the other hand I cannot believe where the last 16 years has gone. I feel sad that my babies aren't babies anymore. I miss little chubby hands holding mine and being the centre of their world. Oh well you can't stop time or turn it back. Onwards and upwards.
