Liverpool just isn't what it used to be!

Went out for dinner with S this evening and looked carefullyall through the estate for suitably tasteless decorations - not a sign.

Went to see the baby after (sorry - to take a bag back that had been left behind!) and wandered around that estate as well.

WHAT has happened to Liverpool - tasteful, subtle, stylish understated

The whole culture has disappeared - the next thing will be a drop in the sales of XLarge track suits in the shops!

On the way home S spotted this valiant attempt to maintain the traditional cultural standards - maybe the city could appeal to the EU for a grant to maintain the areas cultural identity??

Anyway - looks like Nicktor is still winning ;-(
