Fell Foot Park

Travelling across to the Lake District we stopped off at Fell Foot Park for a welcome stretch of the legs. Always good for views up Windermere.

A bit of breeze but warm enough for a walk without a coat. The Pied Wagtail landed close to where we were walking and I just couldn’t resist a quick snap.

Having had a back problem this week Richard was very pleased that the Physio gave him the all clear to walk round his Orienteering course tomorrow. Even better when he went to the surgery yesterday he was given an appointment for today without having to go through his GP. Puts both our minds at rest knowing he will not make it worse by starting. Any suggestion that he should rest the back would not have gone down well.

The forecast for tomorrow has improved so fingers crossed that it stays dry!
