Mothers & daughters

We celebrated Mother's Day here in Canada on Sunday.  A number of years ago, to celebrate my daughters (and daughter in law) becoming Mothers, I started taking them out for a special dinner without kids and spouses.  It's a special evening for us to enjoy good food & drink as well as uninterrupted conversation.  I'm so proud and pleased to be one of their cheerleaders, encouraging and loving them along the way as they raise their families.  What an honour and gift it is to be the Mom/Mom in law as well as a friend to these lovely ladies.  They are such a treasure to me.
