Old Billingsgate Fish Market

Visited a client this afternoon whose office was between Monument and Billingsgate Fish Market.

When I worked in the City back in the 70s, it was a bustling place but now it looks pretty shut up.  Apparently it is now a conference venue - very different from the 19th Century when it was the largest fish market in the world.
