Going nowhere
Well, that's not quite true. I did go for a short run this morning. My problem areas felt pretty good but my lower back complained which isn't so good. I didn't have my pack quite right the day we crossed the pass and I think where the complaints stem from.
I did an errand on my bike late today but other than that I've been bonding with the fur child and home.
Washing is done, as is the mass roasting of peppers, courgettes and mushrooms for tomorrow's salad. I'm even up to date with my blips and I've sorted my trip photos.
Wednesday - Crossing the Otehake River
Thursday - Taramakau Valley
Friday - Chased by the weather
Saturday - South Island Robin
Sunday - The Harper River
After 5 days of perpetually wet feet I decided some attention was in order today. Fortunately I have all my toe nails intact and none are dark and bruised looking.
Christmas will be quiet and gentle for me. I'll have a snooze soon and later head to a midnight service. I'll potter my way through the morning and with the weather forecast I'll re-discover my iron and turn out in a sun dress for the evening occasion. I'll choose something to match my toes and glasses ;-)
Peace
