Trains and Christmas
Today was kind of a lost day....I slept thru most of it I was recovering from a migraine but managed to salvage the evening. When you start your day as the sun is setting it makes it hard to get out and find a great Blip.
This metal train is a relatively new addition to our holiday décor and was a great find last year at a local shop. It was the only one there and I had the perfect spot for it. I thru some small white lights on it and the grandkids love it.
I used to wonder how trains became part of Christmas. It seem that the Germans, being very good woodcarvers, would make little villages for under their trees. This would include a little train. From this grew a tradition of trees and trains.
