Rawhide rodeo....

A day of more cattle work. Sorted out another 40 cows and their calves to go to the grass. Kept in 10 that were needing their feet trimmed which meant getting the correct calves to stay in with them . Once the yard gates were opened though there was no chance of stopping them !
Then had to bring in a cow that calved on Monday as the calf has only sucked 2 tits and she now has mastitis in the other 2 quarters. Had to milk out the bad side and give her antibiotics.
Then it was a couple of trips down the road with 14 heifers to their summer grazing. Checked the electric fences were working and managed to zap myself in the process . Electric fences and me have a healthy dislike of each other !
