Christmas Village No 3.

Went out shopping this morning to get some last minute presents, then had a quick amble around the shops before they became too busy.

All of a sudden everything seems to be going, panic buying is a wonderful thing for the retailers.

Got home and was just about to start the vacuuming, when the phone rang. My brother-in-law rang to say my sister is ill, so Christmas lunch is cancelled.

We always go to my sister's, it's easier for her to do the food as she has a lot of allergies, so she knows what she can and cannot eat. Plus they have air-conditioning, an added bonus.

Still, it's a bit sad, not only because it's not nice she's ill, but also this will be our last Christmas together, and also this would have been the first Christmas with my great-nephew since he was 18months old. He's now 20!

Oh well, the best laid plans of mice and men etc. etc.
