Another visit to the RA toady. To look at the exhibition of early English landscapes. Fascinating. A lot of early engravings. It was really interesting to see how the style evolved, quite quickly.

Also a detailed history of the architecture along Piccadilly.

The round to friends for christmas drinks and mince pies, delivering christmas cards en-route. A fun day out and....no rain!!

This was my attempt at composing with leading lines. There was so much junk in the courtyard, cones, bollards, signs, people, scaffolding - a crane! So a lot of heavy editing to clean it up. You'll never see it like this in real life. The gates and the entrance arch are very impressive.
