Feeding time

Powered 2-wheel ride into work today. Very different experience.

BCS committee meeting this evening. The committee average age is decreasing and it’s diversity is increasing. That doesn’t make the meetings exciting, but they are less rambling.

At home, the hens are at one end of the enclosure and the chicks the other. I fed them and then have to police the run to give the chicks time to eat their food.

Later, I scoop the chicks from a huddle in the grass and inject them into the hen house. On Friday, I’ll clean out the plastic hen house and give them their own space for a few weeks.
