Day 2 on this shift. Got to do a bit of everything today, core collection, mark up, geotechnical logging, photography. Re-wrote the photography procedures. Tried to learn bit of surpac an important software programme for mining.

Struggled to get to sleep tonight, very unusual. I have a lot to think about regarding this job finishing and personal stuff. Should I stay here in cairns, move to Perth, buy a car here or there. Do I stay in the industry? What gives this work purpose/ what are my goals here in Australia? As you can see it rapidly escalated
