giving in

Here was I ,smugly basking in my" bah humbug" superiority, when I foolishly arrived at Dave and Tinas just as her hot mince pies were coming out of the oven! Not 1 but 4 pies later ,I am a humbled and reformed character; so much so that I went hot foot to the shop and bought bright and cheerful wrapping paper,and actually wrapped presents up!! However ,all is not lost; will steel myself and resist the temptation to blip anything resembling tinsel,robins,spruce trees and definately no paper hats!!
