Mini blip meet

Wonderful day at Waddesdon Manor with Chantler63, Beckett, Terrifo, myself and Wendy (Beckett's wife).  
Beckett and Wendy are touring from Australia so it was fabulous to meet up with them at Waddesdon Manor - a very opulent NT property belonging to the Rothschild family where Kathy volunteers.
Terri and I walked around the grounds for a short while before meeting up with the others and going into the house.
The house is overwhelming - there are so many beautiful items to view; one needs days I think to absorb everything in this huge place.
We'd booked their indulgent High Tea and the blip shows what we were presented with. An amazing selection of savoury and sweet items to enjoy - along with a glass of bubbly.  
A wonderful afternoon;  thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Becketts and fabulous to spend time with both of them and Kathy and John - who arrived for the tea! 
Have to admit to being absolutely full up after our meal. Each item was delicious. The flavours were amazing and the presentation delightful. 
A fantastic experience all round.
