Plein air day

What a fabulous warm and sunny day it has been.  I was lucky enough to be involved in a charity plein air drawing/painting day at a lovely church raising funds for the church repair fund.  It was glorious, sunshine, bird song and peace. That is until the strimmie Jimmy arrived to strim around the grave stones at lunchtime.. l mean really!!  Luckily he didn't hang about and decided to head round to the other side of the church until we had finished!!  
I liked this vase of flowers on the windowsill... you can see a cross on the roof through the window which l hadn't noticed when l took the photo.
