The English Game

Technology is great...when it works. I worked for years where the only contingency was for a major incident but as technology has moved on we now need an entire folder of contingencies. Days like today show if they work, or not! A system upgrade overnight was far from an upgrade today when there were so many problems the whole system was shut down to try and solve them. Bring out the paper and pens.... added to which A&E was rammed all day. Oh I was very glad to leave, albeit a little later than scheduled. Gin time!!

When I got back to Saltaire we were unable to leave the station for several minutes due to filming of a Netflix period drama about the origins of football written by Julian Fellowes. No famous faces to be see this time though!
