Another morning too good to miss....

So I headed off to Calke Abbey.

After the cold spell, there were very few butterflies with warm wings. But the flowers are a little later but very promising.

I had a fabulous and restful wander, down as far as the ice house and the reservoir, and back via the church.

I was enthusing about Staffordshire yesterday - well, Derbyshire isn’t so far behind.
