Family Day

Today was very much a 'family' type day.
Thomas and I took a trip into Loughborough with his parents to browse the shops and pick up some treats from the market.
We called in a beautiful farm shop on the way home to pick up some game meat for their Christmas day.
Thomas and I then took a trip to a supermarket with his mum. He and I have our shopping routine down to an art so the trip wasn't too difficult :)

This evening the whole family and I had a lovely meal to celebrate Thomas's brother's new job (an impressive one, too), followed by some Strictly Come Dancing - what else on a Saturday night?

I chose this photograph because the hearth always seems to be the centre of a home, and theirs is decorated with such lovely, festive, homely spirit.
