Pitt Rivers Museum

Christmas officially started in Oxford today - a little early for my liking but the early start was more than compensated for by the opening of all the museums and galleries until late, with not only free entrance but also ad hoc bars. There was a torchlight visit to the Pitt Rivers Museum which got a bit spooky when you came to the shrunken heads. The dinosaurs were enlivened with coloured Christmas lights. This was a great evening. There was something about the Christmas lights in Oxford being lit but I'll swear I saw them lit up on my way home from the jazz last night.
