An early morning walk to the top of the Spanish stairs provided me with an awesome sight of low sun lighting up the tower of Basilica of SS. Ambrose and Charles on the Corso, and the tens of seagulls circling beside it, everything against the extremely dark threatening cloud. My friend (to whom I showed the photo) mistook it to be a shot of a starry sky :-)

Such a majestic sight that I had to use the Mission music from Morricone. The early morning walk to Spagna is a routine mission for me every time when in Rome.
